We left Bella and Sid home yesterday since we had to work. We knew it was coming and she was eventually going to have to be left. I felt this way when we first left Sid at home. I feel so sad and guilty when I do... Then I remind myself, they aren't being abused, they are inside, warm, with toys, treats, water and each other, it can't be THAT bad.
When we left, I put Bella in her bathroom, plenty of blankets, bed, her bunny booties on, food and water, treats and toys, she didn't like that idea. Bless her heart, she jumped OVER a baby gate. She is 14 pounds and the baby gate is a stand baby gate, she's an escape artist. We get home that evening, expecting to have Sid greet us at the door.. And there's Sid AND Bella... Greeting us, waiting to go potty! The reason we leave her in a gated area, she's still not fully potty trained. Oh well, that's what steam cleaners are for, and we have one! (What an amazing Christmas present!! Thanks Dad and Pamela!!) she meets up at the door we go potty and as soon as we get inside, she vomits. I have never seen such a small animal vomit as much as she did! It was so sad to watch. Needless to say, that happened until about midnight. She just kept vomiting. She didn't want to eat her food, nothing! For Bella to not eat her food, she feels yucky. So we stopped her antibiotics, and we are still waiting to see how she is. She had a nibble of food this morning and nothing since then. She doesn't even want her potty treats!
I was worried about Bella and how she'd do, so we had a "slumber party" in the living room. Sid slept on the couch next to Alan. Moonshine slept on the top pillows, and Bella slept on me. She eventually moved to in between Alan and mines heads in the middle of them and shared a pillow with Alan! It was super cute to wake up too! Bella I think enjoyed snuggling most of the night as well!

There's where she slept, on the center cushion next to where we were sleeping! She was quite comfortable! I'm not sure she's really ever slept inside before, but I love being able to spoil her, she deserves it.
This is where moonshine and Sid slept too! It's amazing as to what you can sleep on a couch! 2 humans, 2 dogs and a cat and I'm sure there could have been more!
It was our first rough night of many more Im sure to come!! I can't wait to see what she is like in a few weeks! Her skin is already better and itching is not as frequent!! :) we're on the road to recovery!
